Powerline
Powerline is a special program offered at Three Rivers Christian School for students who need extra help in reading. We have used Powerline for over ten years now and have seen excellent results.
Powerline is a remedial reading program with a phonics base, specifically designed to develop, use and integrate the perceptual skills needed for reading, writing and spelling. Students work with a trained teacher in a group of approximately five for 40 minutes each day. Half of the time is spent in teacher directed activities and half using self-directed teaching cassettes and workbooks that students progress through independently.
